Since 1987, Siloam Mission has provided meals, clothing, and hope to Winnipeg’s poor and homeless community. A Christian humanitarian organization, Siloam is dedicated to alleviating hardships and providing opportunities for change for those affected by homelessness. Poverty and homelessness affects more than 2,000 Winnipegers every year and the issue is growing. We serve an average of 1300 meals every day and do three meal services a day, 365 days a year. We also operate a 110-bed emergency shelter and offer various programs to help people reclaim their potential, to live with dignity and respect.

Located in Winnipeg's Wolseley neighborhood, The Madison provides 85-units of recovery based independent living in a supportive, congregate environment. It is a place of intentional community for individuals considered chronically and episodically homeless coming from shelters and other care systems.  

The transition services program helps guests move forward in their lives through goal setting, weekly meetings, support and accountability. Coupled with a circle of care – a team of people made up of staff and volunteers that encourages each participant on a weekly basis – the program is designed to provide supports so that people can regain their confidence and take positive steps knowing that a “family” is backing them up all the way.
