I am a 61 year old male originally from Ontario. I have done a variety of jobs from labor work to computer work. I am working on getting clean so I can get into the field of counseling. For a good part of my youth I was incarcerated and have found my criminal record to be a huge barrier. Hearing from my children is what matters to me most. I hope my children have learned from my life experiences. I would like for people to pray for my children and my ex wife to be happy and healthy.

I am a 26 year old male originally from Prince George. The first time I slept outside it was very cold and I ended up sleeping in a recycling bin for 3 months. I have worked in construction, security and sales. Working in security was my favorite. Lately I have enjoyed working in addiction support. Feeling lonely and addiction has been the most difficult part of my life so far. My dream is to fund and create a recovery community based on alternative therapies and emotional fluency. I would like for others to pray for good health.

I am a 64 year old male originally from Vancouver. I have worked as an independent contractor in construction for most of my life. I feel addiction has been one of the most difficult parts of my life. Doing a good job, helping others in need and having some good insight/influence with their lives make me feel good. My dream is to build, maintain and staff an affordable housing and life assisting enterprise. I recently experienced a life changing event and have not done drugs for a couple of months now. I am happy to have my loving family back. I hope everyone has a merry Christmas. I am a surviving adult of serious child abuse. I managed to maintain a healthy life in which I had a very good job, a wife and kids, a home and a cat. Four years ago a close family member committed suicide and it reopened some dark wounds which led me to make some bad choices. I turned to substances and Iost my way. The hardest part is living with myself some days. I am in treatment now and I am fighting back. I don’t want my kids to grow up without their dad or the cycle to repeat. I am fighting back.
