What they do: The program provides 25 shelter beds for women, meals, basic needs, crisis intervention, counseling, referrals, medication and general support. It is open throughout the day for drop-in services and for shelter stays of up to 30 days.
What they need:
Gift drop off details: Please note all gifts in red have already been pledged. You can drop off any gifts for shelter residents at the Shelbourne Street Church of Christ, 3460 Shelbourne Street, Victoria (250-592-4914). Drop off times are Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm, 2 pm to 5 pm; Sunday 8:30 am to noon. Please ensure gifts are labelled with the name and assigned ID number of the recipient. If possible, please wrap the gifts. Gifts can also be mailed to the Church building care of Monique (postal code V8P 4G5). We need all gifts no later than 5 pm on December 22.

Streetlink

What they do: Streetlink provides the very basic of needs to Victoria’s downtown street-entrenched populations: shelter, food and hygiene. It is a link to other Cool Aid services such as the Community Health Centre and other services.
