Read Their Story And Make A Pledge Today

Kat first came to Siloam because she was homeless and had no family to turn to (both her parents have passed away). She suffers from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of being abused as a child and she fell into a bad depression when her daughter was taken away from her at 5 years old. One of Kat’s biggest challenges is trying to stay sober, but she is fighting to turn her life around so that she can get her daughter back. She is encouraged whenever she spends time with her daughter who she visits 1 to 2 times per week. In the past Kat has worked in a homeless drop in centre, a youth club and in a flower shop. Ideally she would love to work in legal aid.

If Kat could get someone at Siloam a gift she would get them school supplies, socks and some mitts.
